What are the modes of shopping and payment you use?

  • We accept domestic and international payments on our website. For India, we accept all major debit & credit cards (including Mastercard, Visa & American Express) and also provide Net Banking options across major banks. We also accept UPI directly on our website. For all international transactions, we accept major Credit and Debit Cards (including Mastercard, Visa & American Express) and also provide the option to pay via PayPal on request.
  • If you like something online but do not use online modes of payment, we also accept direct bank transfers.

Do you ship in my country? Which shipping company are you working with?

  • We are based out of India and we ship to all countries worldwide.
  • For international shipments we have partnered with DHL, Aramex and other carriers. In India, we ship through Blue Dart, Delhivery or DTDC.

When will I receive my order?

  • We are a made-to-order brand and make every garment fresh upon receiving an order and then ship it. At present our delivery timeline is 15-23 business days. Feel free to request for earlier delivery and we’ll be happy to accommodate to our best capability. 
  • Ideally, we process all orders within the promised time. However, there may be a little delay sometimes since Shiori products are handcrafted which is slow in nature and includes hand block printing, hand embroideries and hand finishing. These processes can occasionally go through unforeseen delays due to the human factor.
  • Once your order is shipped, the shipping company usually takes around 3-4 days to deliver international orders depending on location and around 1-4 days for domestic orders.

  • Please note that our fulfilment timeline does not include unforeseen and not in our control delays, that is in the event of a natural disaster, war, calamity or epidemic/pandemic. In such circumstances, your order will be processed and dispatched after our production and supply chains resume smoothly when any of the above events have passed.

What is your return & exchange policy?

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and must be returned within 3 working days after delivery. This is applicable for all domestic (within India) returns. Please note that for our international customers, returns are not always possible due to logistic issues. We would suggest you go through our entire return and refund policy.
  • For international returns, the freight to India, duty/tax payment at port of entry in India and freight back to the respective country is to be borne by the customer. Please note international returns are only possible for exchange. On international orders, we offer exchange provided above conditions are fulfilled but we do not offer refund on international orders.   • For  products ordered from our 'Sample Sale' section. Please note that the product is one of a kind and shall not be customised, exchanged or returned at any stage. Therefore, we request you to go through the measurements chart carefully.
  • Exchanges and returns will not be accepted for any customised order. A product is eligible for exchange/return only if it is a standard product.
  • Return requests received beyond 3 days shall not be entertained. 

*We don’t provide a return/ refund unless the piece is found defected from our end.*

What are your shipping charges?

  • We ship in India as well as internationally with reliable courier partners. The prices vary according to the size and volume of the package.

India: Free

International: Rs. 1500 & above. (varies with shipping zones)

  • Please check for the shipping price on the item you want to purchase. We have no control over delays related with customs and custom charges. They vary from one country to another.

What if I like a piece that is out of stock now?

If a design you like is out of stock, it is because we don’t have that fabric anymore. If you like the style and are okay to go with a different fabric from our webshop, we’d willingly customise it for you! :)

Are duties charged on international orders?

  • We have no control over duty charges. Usually for smaller order there are no duty fee charged to the customer. But any duty charges are local to the law of the buyers country. These if charged have to be borne by the buyer.

How do I know you’ve shipped my order?

  • Tracking details are mailed to you after we ship your order.

Do you customise clothes? If yes, is it charged extra?

  • Yes, we customise for a perfect fit.
    We don’t charge anything extra for basic length alterations or minor alterations, however if the piece requires to be entirely customised, the customisation charges vary between 5%-25% of the MRP of the product depending on the amount of customisation.

How do you promote sustainable and fair trade?

  • We believe in sustainable practice and are strong promoters of fair trade. Each of our pieces is handmade from scratch and crafted out of eco friendly fabrics for supreme luxury and comfort.

From where do you source your fabrics?

  • We source our fabrics from weavers and vendors across the country.

How often do you come up with a new collection?

  • We launch a new collection every 5-6 months.

How to use a store credit voucher?

  • If you have a store credit voucher in exchange for a product, you can enter the same at the checkout page in the discount box. Usually these vouchers are valid for a duration of 6 months and can be used against an order of the same or higher value.

The color of the garment looks different from the website. Why?

  • The colors seen in the image on the website may vary from the actual product due to different screen resolutions and displays. Dark colors may look lighter in direct sunlight. Please also note that any subtle variations or imperfections in the colors of hand block printed garments are a natural outcome of handcrafted textiles and not a defect. Hand block printed garments are produced through manual processes and the color is also created by artisans manually. These colors are also affected by the prevailing weather conditions where they are printed. Consequently, subtle variations in the color are a natural outcome of hand block printed garments.

How to care for a Shiori garment?

  • Every Shiori garment is accompanied with a wash-care tag, kindly follow the instructions on the tag. Below are some general wash care guidelines:
  • Hand wash all printed and solid Shiori garments separately in cold water using very mild detergent and put them for drying inside out in shade. You can gently rub the fabric while washing. For ironing either use a steam iron or iron them on low heat with a layer on top.
  • Garments in silk, silk blend, merino wool, linen and organza come with a dry-clean only tag due to the delicate nature of the fibres. Garments with hand embellishments should also be dry-cleaned. Always air these garments after dry-cleaning to get rid of any odour. You can use eco-friendly dry-cleaning. There are two dry-cleaning options that are considered eco-friendly - wet cleaning and liquid carbon dioxide cleaning. Both of them do not use toxic chemicals in the cleaning process.
  • Please do not use harsh detergents (like starch, bleach, stain removers, etc) on any Shiori garments while washing or otherwise.
  • Please note that any subtle imperfections or irregularities in the weave, texture and colours of Shiori garments are a natural outcome of handcrafted, hand block printed or handmade textiles and not a defect. Unique weaving and block print markings and imperfections are a result of the handmade process and show the maker's touch making each piece unique.
